AP236 - Back To Business

owh hye...back reading my posts ey? kinda lame but yeah, imma tell you bout my new journey back as a student after a long, boring, full of tension, unplanned & unpredictable hiatus.

so, i was kinda held up with my studies, for many years back, n finally i got back in the ever so wanted student life. (not really wanted it, but much as needed it) got my papers sorted out n yeah, i got to transfer my recent degree to a new, much compatible, course line.

but then i realized that the new course was REALLY a new & improved (as they claimed it) course outline. not like the ones some of my friend took before me. n believe me, it is much more challenging than the previous version. more about construction calculations, formulas, laws, technologies. (awesome -.-")

being 25 and just started (well, restarted to be exact) taking up degree kinda late for average people i guess. better late than never as they say. i was convinced that i'd be alone in the cruise. but then again, i guessed wrong.

there was another 4 people from my diploma course in this new class. one of em was my junior in high school. (sweet!) my class wasn't that big though. 13 students, most of em were from Polytechnic around Malaysia. n they were all younger than me ( not so sweet =.=" ) making things more awkward for me...

i missed most of the stuffs goin on the first week, i even got into the wrong class the first day n totally skipped the union meeting. (mehh...am too old to go to such time wasting crap neways) i didnt even kno there's another class up til the end of the semester. (though it clearly stated i was in class B..hehe)

getting along with the new kids in class are not that hard thou. since i've oredi knew 4 of em, n there's not a lot of us. owh, by the 3rd week, another student got in, n we became 14 in total, divided equally by gender.

so there was me - the old grumpy guy, the 4 juniors - lomy, mya, afa n jija, the 2 girls i met in the admin office - taza & ira, the penang girl - eiyka, the poly guys - aziz, bob, syahmi n aiman, n the late comer - faris. things were moving kinda slow between us but got escalated after our first hang out to bukit cherakah. lotsa happen there which brought us closer together.

but that's for another time. till then!




cheshire-cut : ...at first i tot i was doing this for someone, since that someone was the one encouraging me to never give up n try as much as i can...but then i realise, am doing this for me...not for anyone else but me...which leaves me a much satisfying reason to go on after she left...
